Solution

Join Our Team

If you are passionate about changing an entrenched industry to favor the planet - an industry that has relied on petroleum since its inception - then consider joining our team as we aim to offer an alternative to the adhesive industry.

Our team, led by scientists, engineers and results-oriented, proven professionals have a track record of product research and ship in the $60B adhesive industry.  Our team will do our part to reduce the need for petroleum, lower carbon in our planet's atmosphere and have fun.

Chemist - Polymer Scientist

A key member of the staff who will work to advance the fundamental knowledge base and core competencies in the area of adhesives and polymers, support product and process development activities, and will work in an interdisciplinary team.  The individual will be responsible for contributing to bio-based adhesive development and a broad range of polymer-related activities such as their synthesis, processing, characterization, and analysis of polymer structure-property relationships. Polymers of specific interest are bio-based polymers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulation development of natural and biodegradable adhesives and other polymers.

  • Conduct laboratory testing to test natural materials.

  • Liaise with manufacturing to scale up various formulations providing technical support.

  • Liaise directly with academic institutes to organize 3rd party research and testing.

  • Characterize formulations and products.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Degree qualified in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.  Advance degree preferred.

  • Experience in formulation, specifically natural materials.

  • This is a hands-on laboratory position with client interface, travel as needed.
